Ok so here we are. We are pretty new at this "blogging" stuff so excuse the simple layout and the lack of creativity. We promise we will try our best to figure this thing out. On the meantime we are excited to finally have a Blog where we can keep you all posted and where we can also hear what you all have to say. I don't want to be overly dramatic, but this grocery store is really, really special. I live in Highland Park and the first time I came in here, I was blown away by the prices, the staff, and the care that obviously went in to opening this store up. Figueroa Produce represents what grocery stores in Los Angeles should be -businesses that reflect and serve the needs of the community. It feels really good ( and American - not to be too dramatic) to shop here every week - I'm saving money, supporting a local small business, and eating really well. Keep up the amazing work and let's all support this great neighborhood grocery store! This is what it's all about people!!
